The MINIS FORUM MS-03 is a compact computer with capabilities comparable to those of a small workstation. In this configuration, you get an Intel Core Ultra 5 336H processor, 32 GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1 TB SSD. The processor features 12 cores and 12 threads, a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz, and support for Intel vPro, while the integrated Intel Graphics and NPU allow you to use the computer for AI-powered tasks as well. The MS-03 also features three M.2 NVMe slots, support for U.2 drives, 10GbE networking, 2.5GbE, and two 10G SFP+ ports, two USB4 ports, and a physical PCIe x16 slot—so despite its compact size, it offers plenty of room for future expansion.

Intel Core Ultra 5 336H with NPU

At the heart of the computer is the Intel Core Ultra 5 336H with 12 cores, 12 threads, and a maximum clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz. In balanced mode, the processor operates with a power limit of up to 65 W, providing sufficient performance headroom for multitasking, programming, data analysis, and running business applications. The integrated Intel Graphics chip reaches a frequency of up to 2.3 GHz and delivers up to 37 TOPS of performance in INT8 computations, while the NPU offers up to 47 TOPS. This allows some AI operations to be offloaded to a specialized chip, without having to rely solely on the CPU.

32 GB DDR5 and a 1 TB SSD

In this version, the MS-03 comes equipped with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD, so you don’t need to add memory or primary storage yourself after purchase. Two SO-DIMM slots allow you to expand the RAM capacity in the future to as much as 128 GB, and supported memory speeds are 5600, 6400, and 7200 MT/s. The computer also has three M.2 NVMe slots: two PCIe 5.0 x4 and one PCIe 4.0 x1. One of the slots can support a U.2 NVMe drive with a capacity of up to 15 TB using the included M.2–U.2 adapter, offering extensive possibilities for further expanding storage capacity.

Extensive Networking Options

The MS-03 is particularly well-suited for scenarios where fast data transfer between a computer, server, or NAS is essential. It features 10GbE RJ-45, 2.5GbE RJ-45, and two 10G SFP+ ports powered by the Intel X710 controller. This configuration allows for high-speed wired connections without the need to install additional network cards. The computer also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and Intel vPro enables remote management features that are useful in corporate environments, among others.

USB4, HDMI 2.1, and an expansion card slot

Two USB4 Type-C ports with a bandwidth of up to 40 Gb/s support DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode, so they can be used for both high-speed data transfer and video output. HDMI 2.1 is also available, along with several USB Type-A ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Inside the case is a physical PCIe x16 slot that operates electrically as PCIe 4.0 x4, designed for low-profile, single-slot cards up to 170 mm long and 20 mm thick. This allows you to expand the computer with an additional controller, network card, or other specialized device.

Cooling for Extended Operation Under Load

Heat dissipation is handled by a system utilizing two heat pipes, an 83 × 18 mm turbo fan, and PCM material. The design is engineered to maintain stable performance even during prolonged CPU load. In balanced mode, the noise level ranges from 32 to 45 dB, and in silent mode from 30 to 38 dB when measured from a distance of 50 cm. Once a graphics card is installed, the computer automatically switches to silent mode. The case, measuring 196 × 189 × 48 mm and weighing approximately 1.4 kg, helps keep the overall configuration compact.
