Peladn S-3 Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station

The Peladn S-3 Thunderbolt 5 is an eGPU docking station that uses the Thunderbolt 5 interface, offering bidirectional bandwidth of up to 80 Gbps. With support for external graphics cards, 140W Power Delivery, an additional M.2 SSD slot, a 2.5G Ethernet port, and an SD 4.0 card reader, it allows you to create a high-performance workstation for gaming, creative work, and professional applications. The open design facilitates component installation and supports cooling, while compatibility with Thunderbolt 4, USB4, USB3, and DisplayPort 2.1 enhances integration capabilities with a wide range of devices.

Thunderbolt 5 and High Performance

Thunderbolt 5 technology provides bidirectional bandwidth of 80 Gb/s, which is twice the data transfer speed of Thunderbolt 4. Such high performance helps minimize performance losses when using external graphics cards, high-speed storage devices, and demanding applications. This solution is ideal for both gaming and working with large graphic files or video footage.

Laptop Power and Additional Storage Space

The main Thunderbolt 5 port supports Power Delivery technology with up to 140 W of power, allowing the dock to simultaneously power a compatible laptop and support connected devices. Even under heavy load, the user doesn’t have to worry about the computer running out of power while working or gaming. An additional M.2 SSD slot using the PCIe 3.0 x1 interface allows you to increase available storage space without having to replace the drive in your computer, making it easier to store large libraries of photos, videos, graphic designs, or games.

Fast communication and convenient file transfer

The built-in 2.5G Ethernet port provides a faster wired connection than standard Gigabit Ethernet solutions, offering stable network access while gaming online, transferring large files, and working with network resources. The station is also equipped with an SD 4.0 card reader supporting data transfer speeds of up to 312 MB/s, allowing you to conveniently copy photos and videos from cameras, drones, and camcorders.

Open design and broad compatibility

The metal alloy chassis stands out for its durability and modern design. The open design facilitates installation and replacement of the graphics card without the need for complicated disassembly, and also allows you to select the appropriate power supply and other components according to your own requirements. Thunderbolt 5 is based on USB4 v2, DisplayPort 2.1, and PCIe 4.0 standards, and compatibility with Thunderbolt 4, USB4, USB3, and DisplayPort 2.1 allows for seamless integration of the dock into a modern work or entertainment setup.
