The MINIS FORUM MS-03-S336H is a compact barebone computer designed for users who want to choose their own RAM and SSDs to suit their needs. The model features an Intel Core Ultra 5 336H processor with Intel vPro support, offering 12 cores, 12 threads, and a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz. It features two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB of memory, three M.2 NVMe slots, support for a U.2 NVMe drive, extensive networking interfaces including 10GbE, 2.5GbE and 10G SFP+, two USB4 ports, and a physical PCIe x16 slot. The barebone version does not include RAM or an SSD, allowing you to tailor the configuration to your intended use and budget.

Intel Core Ultra 5 with NPU for AI tasks

The Intel Core Ultra 5 336H operates at up to 4.6 GHz and in balanced mode with a power limit of up to 65 W. The processor works in conjunction with integrated Intel Graphics running at up to 2.3 GHz, reaching up to 37 TOPS in INT8 computations. Added to this is an NPU with a performance of up to 47 TOPS, which can handle some AI-related tasks. As a result, the MS-03 is well-suited for applications involving on-premises AI, programming, data analysis, multitasking, and services running directly on the local network.

Up to 128 GB of DDR5 and three M.2 NVMe slots

Two SO-DIMM slots allow for the installation of up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory supporting speeds of 5600, 6400, and 7200 MT/s. The same applies to storage—the computer offers three M.2 NVMe slots, including two using the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and one using PCIe 4.0 x1. One of the slots can also support a U.2 NVMe drive with a capacity of up to 15 TB via the included M.2–U.2 adapter. Such an extensive storage system allows for the separate storage of the operating system, applications, projects, databases, and files used by local AI models.

High-Speed Wired and Wireless Networking

The MS-03 is designed for environments requiring high-speed data transfer. The rear panel features a 10GbE RJ-45 port, a 2.5GbE RJ-45 port, and two 10G SFP+ ports based on the Intel X710 controller. This facilitates integration with servers, high-speed NAS storage, enterprise infrastructure, and edge devices. Wireless connectivity is provided by the Intel BE211 module, which supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The variant with the Core Ultra 5 336H processor also supports Intel vPro, which can facilitate remote management of the computer in a business environment.

USB4, HDMI, and Expandability

Two USB4 Type-C ports with transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s support DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode, and an additional HDMI 2.1 port allows you to connect an external display. USB 3.2 Gen 2 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack, are also available. Inside the chassis is a physical PCIe x16 slot operating electrically in PCIe 4.0 x4 mode, designed for low-profile single-slot cards up to 170 mm long and 20 mm thick. This allows you to expand your computer with additional network cards, controllers, or other specialized expansion cards, among other options.

Cooling Designed for Prolonged Load

The cooling system utilizes two heat pipes, an 83 × 18 mm turbo fan, and PCM material, which helps efficiently dissipate heat during prolonged operation under load. In balanced mode, the noise level ranges from 32 to 45 dB, and in quiet mode from 30 to 38 dB when measured from a distance of 50 cm. Once a graphics card is installed, the computer automatically switches to quiet mode. The entire unit is housed in a case measuring 196 × 189 × 48 mm and weighing approximately 1.4 kg, which is why the MS-03 can serve as a compact workstation without taking up much space.
