The Anycubic Wash & Cure 3 Max is a device for automatically washing and curing prints from resin-based 3D printers. It combines both processing stages into a single unit, offering a 15.1-liter capacity and a washing chamber measuring up to 305 × 165 × 300 mm, allowing you to process both single large models and several smaller ones simultaneously. The device uses 360° spray cleaning, additional cleaning of the bottom of the model, and a rotating UV curing platform with a maximum power density of 25,000 µW/cm². The available operating modes allow you to tailor the entire process to a specific print.
With a capacity of 15.1 L, the Wash & Cure 3 Max is ideal for processing larger models. The maximum dimensions of the washing chamber are 305 × 165 × 300 mm, and the basket can hold models with a total weight of up to 3 kg. The device is compatible with LCD 3D printers with a build volume corresponding to a screen diagonal of up to approximately 13.6 inches.
The cleaning system uses two symmetrically arranged spray columns with a total of 12 nozzles and a rotating basket, allowing the cleaning fluid to reach the model from various directions and more effectively remove uncured resin residue, even from more complex surfaces. After washing the surface, the device additionally cleans the bottom of the model and hard-to-reach areas, preparing it more thoroughly for the next processing stage.
The automatic mode combines spraying, immersion, and UV curing, reducing the number of manual steps. Separate washing and curing modes are also available, and their durations can be adjusted to the model’s size, the type of resin, and the desired result—so you can perform a full print processing cycle or run only the stage needed at any given moment.
The rotating platform changes the model’s position relative to the UV light source during curing, ensuring even exposure across the entire surface and eliminating the need to manually reposition the print. The maximum power density is 25,000 µW/cm² at a curing distance of 18 cm.
Thanks to the spray cleaning system, the consumption of IPA or other cleaning agents is significantly lower than with traditional immersion cleaning. About 4 L of solution is sufficient to clean a model approximately 25 cm tall, whereas the immersion process requires about 8.5 L—a savings of nearly 50%. The included 5-liter cleaning solution tank and a second 5-liter container for water/wastewater facilitate fluid management: a single 5-liter fill of IPA is sufficient to clean up to 20 large models 25 cm tall, with an average consumption of less than 20 ml per model.
The Wash & Cure 3 Max continuously monitors the operation and alerts the user to situations such as a lack of fluid supply, a blocked drain or cleaning agent dispenser, an open lid, or insufficient power supply voltage. The touchscreen allows you to select modes and adjust operating parameters, while the top-opening lid provides convenient access to the chamber. Process automation, a large workspace, and adjustable washing and curing parameters streamline the preparation of resin prints after printing is complete.
